The Bookshelf Conversation #159: Dave Choate

November 30, 2022

I’ve probably said this before when talking about an artist: I don’t know the medium but I know what I like. And I like Dave Choate’s work.

Quirky. That’s how I would describe it, no offense intended if anyone takes it as such.

This particular Conversation came about after I bought some of his work as a present for my wife (we’ll see if she reads this or not). He was kind enough to send some bonus prints and I reached out to see if he’d be amenable to talking about his work and style.
